My wonderful friend, who has supplied me with many of the succulents in my garden, wanted a couple of crochet Pikachu’s for her grandchildren. I have received an abundance of cuttings from her garden that have bloomed into such lovely plants in my own garden that it was a pleasure making the toys for her.
She said her grandchildren loved them (hopefully she’s not just being nice).
One of my students asked if I could sell her a Pikachu so she could give it to her brother for Christmas. I had never made a Pikachu before but I told her I would try. I didn’t have much time since our Christmas break was looming and I only had few days left before then. Add to the mix that I had about another hundred projects I needed to finish but I really wanted to get this done for her. She and her mom are two of the sweetest people I know. I just had to get it done.
