I’ll be joining a friend at her annual craft fair boutique in her home, but when she asked, I didn’t have anything to sell. I knew I’d have to make some new items but what to make? I didn’t want to spend a lot of time crocheting products that didn’t sell and that I would have to store.
What to do? I made things I want for myself anyway or that the kids would like in the prize-box at work. Win win win for everyone.
I’ve been obsessed with Disney bounding and Mickey ears lately. I see all the cute ears when I go to Disneyland and imagine all the possibilities I could create with crochet. That got me thinking of headbands in general and I got to work.
I focused on kid friendly headbands that appealed to the kid in me as well.
Mouse Ears
I love love love the Nightmare Before Christmas and wanted to try it out.
Had to give princess ears a go too.
Couldn’t pass up some holiday ears.
Felt like I was missing something so I added pompoms. I like it! Might add some gold to it somewhere, might use flowers instead of pompoms…or just leave it and move on. To be determined. 🙂
It wasn’t all about the mouse. Here are some other experiments. These are geared more towards my students.
All in all, I’ve been busy! And what I don’t sell I can use!
