Redheart – This is a yarn company but they have a ton of free patterns.

Yarnspirations – Another yarn company with a ton of free patterns.

DNC – This is a yarn company that has pretty cool tutorials.

Lion Brand – A yarn company with over 6000 free crochet patterns.

About: Crochet – Great source of tutorials for beginners and experienced crocheters alike. They also have a ton of patterns.

FreePatterns – Lots and lots of free patterns. You have to subscribe but it is well worth it.

Crochet Pattern Central – Directory of free crochet patterns.

Ravelry – A knit and crochet community.

Moogly – An excellent blog with many tutorials and free patterns (as well as some paid patterns). I use this site all the time.

By Hook, By Hand –  One of my favorite blogs about crochet and knitted dolls. I can’t even express how useful and inspiring this blog has been to me.

Pinterest and YouTube – I assume everyone has heard of these resources but they are worth mentioning. Pinterest is an endless source of ideas and I have learned so much from YouTube. I use Pinterest for inspiration and YouTube for implementation. 🙂
