Funko Pop Crochet

Now that the crochet Rosalina birthday gift is finished, it’s on to the next birthday gift. My husband wants a Funko Pop inspired doll of him. He created an image of what he wanted, and I’m in the process of making it.

Pretty good!

I decided on using Tunisian crochet for this one because I want to give it a knitted look. I don’t knit, so I like to pretend sometimes… I also thought the Tunisian simple stitch would work well here.

I use my iPad to get the right proportions. I just expand the image to the size I want.

I love using my iPad with certain projects. I can expand the image to the size I want the project to be, and then I hold up my work to the image. I can design the face that way too.

This is what I have so far.
Doesn’t look like much yet.

Sometimes, when my family sees what I’m doing, they can’t visualize the finished product. Sometimes, they even doubt…🧐 but I can see it in my minds eye. This will look right when it’s done. I plan on making another one because I have another idea, and I don’t know which one I’ll like better. I’m sure my husband won’t mind having two dolls. 😊
