After a few request to show off my crocheted Ariel bounding outfit, today was the day. The weather finally cooled off enough that I could actually put it on (in the morning). I probably won’t be wearing the two pieces together because, you know, crochet overload, but they do make a happy couple visually, if not in practicality.
It was morning but it was already getting to warm to keep on!
I’m thinking of making some new Ariel ears. Not sure I still like these.
Eek! I’ve had such a fun-filled and busy summer. I’ve been to Renaissance festivals, a short cruise, The Grand Canyon and Sedona, and lots of time spent with family. I’ve been crocheting too, but mainly, I’ve been getting my dolls done for my crochet book. Buuut, I spent some time working on my Ariel inspired bounding outfit and finally finished it. Sadly, it’s too hot for wearing anytime soon, but as soon as it cools down…
The purple crochet top I wanted for the Ariel bounding outfit came out nicely. It surprised me how much I liked it as I had very low expectations for it. I watched several Youtube videos on how to make the bralette part and then just made something up.
The skirt was super simple and doesn’t look like much but looks very nice when I put it on.
I’m not sure yet if I’m going to wear them together or pare each with something non-crochet. It might be crochet overload otherwise. LOL
