Crochet Doll From Scrap Yarn

I have a bunch of little odds and ends of leftover yarn at work. I often use these to teach the kids how to crochet so they don’t tangle up our bigger balls of yarn. But now, I have a bag full of small scraps that need to be made into something.

At first, I was making little butterflies and flowers, but I quickly got bored with that. I had a few off-white scraps, so I made a doll. I ended up having to use different skin tone colors, but I don’t think the kids will notice. I asked what colors I should use for the clothes and they said blue and green. They always say blue and green. I think they associate those as our program colors. We don’t actually have program colors but our logo has a symbol of the world in blues and greens. So there you go, those are our colors now.

I had blue and green scraps, so a doll small doll was born. šŸ™‚

You can’t tell my hands don’t match my face, can you?
